Malena Agyemang

Malena took her first yoga class in 2009 as a senior elective in high school, but her practice became more consistent when graduate school started to get real. Malena was inspired by the moving meditation of yoga that allowed her to get into both her mind and body. This not only helped her deepen her personal practice, but it also helped her apply this mindful practice into her life off the mat.

Malena is a current graduate student at Clemson University who recently completed her yoga teacher training in March 2019 at M3Yoga in Athens, GA. Malena teaches a class with an emphasis on mindful movement. Her intention is to facilitate a mind-body experience that allows students to explore their body through a moving meditation.

Malena teaches vinyasa flow yoga. Find her schedule here:

Jackie Garbarino

Jackie Garbarino is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) with an additional 60hrs in teaching yoga to kids and teens. She is founder of All Hearts Yoga, a mobile yoga company dedicated to helping youth find greater inner peace amidst the outer distractions of life. Strength, flexibility, and balance of mind, body, soul are areas that are explored, experienced, and noticed. Over time students realize the key role they play in managing emotions, and self-care.

As a classroom teacher, HS coach, and volunteer for at-risk youth, Jackie understands how easily kids can become confused and anxious when confronted by life issues, whether it is a challenge that they created or one which was created for them. And sees how quickly things can get sideways, if they don’t have the outside support, maturity, and/or tools to makes sense of their world. Yoga can be a way for our youth to discover a little more about themselves, to go inside and discover the power that lies within, discover that they are created for a purpose, that they have a contribution to make in this world, and most importantly, that they matter.

Jackie began teaching yoga in 2010, and she is available for private sessions and private group classes as well as her regularly scheduled classes at Green Heart Awakening.
