We have more than yoga! From Tai Chi to meditation to sound healing, we've got something for you! Each class is assigned a credit value, noted in the description. For an explanation of the credit system and costs, visit the Pricing page.

We often try out new classes as courses and workshops first, so make sure to check out the Workshops, Courses, and Community Events pages for even more styles and topics.

Unless otherwise noted, classes will not run if no one has signed up an hour prior to class. Credits cannot be refunded if a participant cancels their registration within an hour of class time.
​
**Room temperature for all classes will be set at a comfortable 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit. In active classes, your body's movement will supply the necessary heat to break a sweat.**

Tai Chi and Qigong Class

TAI CHI (Taijiquan)
​Practiced by millions of people worldwide, Tai Chi is a system of training with martial origins which has steadily gained popularity in the West. Tai Chi is an excellent mind/body exercise, integrating internal kung fu, meditative awareness, Taoist philosophy and physics of efficient movement. Consisting of a series of movements and steps, it is practiced slowly, with attention to relaxation and calm spirit.

​QIGONG (Chi Kung)
​Literally, the study and practice of energy development, Qigong claims similar benefits as Tai Chi. The movements are somewhat less complicated than Tai Chi, and some of the training takes place while the participants are standing still (sometimes known as Standing Meditation). Many students enjoy practicing Qigong as a supplement to their Tai Chi training.

Guided Meditation & Communi-Tea

In this class, designed for the beginning and advanced practitioner alike, we learn the benefits of meditation and to use the breath as a tool towards relaxation and stress reduction. We will further explore how to be mindful in our daily lives to maintain a feeling and sense of equilibrium in stressful situations.
We will sit for about 20 - 30 minutes and follow our meditation with tea and conversation.

Sound Healing + Restorative Yoga

Experience ultimate relaxation!
​
Restorative Yoga allows the body to be fully supported by props like bolsters and blankets while getting a gentle stretch. Sound Healing soothes the nervous system and turns on the "rest and digest" functions of the body. Go from wired to well!

Simply Sound

Simply Sound uses a variety of sounds with various musical instruments in order to create a relaxing, meditative experience. Christy is a life-long musician who seeks to create an environment that offers participants a space to unplug and restore a sense of harmony and balance to mind and body balance.

Sound + Reiki

You'll be able to sit or lie down in a comfortable position while Christy Williamson plays singing bowls, guitar, drums, rattles, chimes, and other instruments. Karen Sonnenwald or Kristy Williams will provide Reiki to all participants.
