Yoga Classes

From Yin to Yoga for Any Body to Power, we've got a yoga class for you! Each class is assigned a credit value, noted in the description. For an explanation of the credit system and costs, visit the Pricing page.

We try out new classes as pop-ups, courses, and workshops first, so make sure to check out the Workshops and Community Events pages for even more styles and topics.

Unless otherwise noted, classes will not run if no one has signed up an hour prior to class. Classes at 9 a.m. or earlier require registration by 9 p.m. the night before. Credits cannot be refunded if a participant cancels their registration within an hour of class time.

**Room temperature for all classes will be set at a comfortable 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. In active classes, your body's movement will supply the necessary heat to break a sweat.**

Awakening Power Yoga

Awakening Power Yoga

An active, strength-building yoga class, this 45-minute flow will help awaken your power and get you ready for the day! A basic knowledge of yoga is helpful.

Yoga for Any Body

Yoga for Any Body

Move and breathe at your own pace.

 

Bodies of all shapes, sizes, and abilities welcome. Appropriate for beginners. Class begins on the floor, includes standing poses and movements in the middle, and returns to the floor at the end of class. The focus is on stress relief and soothing the nervous system.

 

WHEN:

Mondays, Fridays, 8:15 - 9:30 a.m.

Mondays, Fridays, 10 - 11:15 a.m.

COST: 3 credits per class

Slow Flow Yoga

Slow Flow Yoga is the middle ground between Yoga for Any Body and Vinyasa Flow. This slower-paced flow class allows time to explore the poses while cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and calm.

WHEN:

Mondays, 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.

Wednesdays, 10 - 11:15 a.m.

COST: 3 credits

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow

An active, all-level vinyasa flow yoga class with emphasis on connecting breath with movement, encompassing sun salutations and warrior sequences.  You will sweat! A basic knowledge of yoga is helpful.

WHEN:

Tuesdays, 6:15-7:15 p.m.

Beginning, February 6: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Thursdays, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a practice of deep stretching that can facilitate inner calm and peace. The practice focuses on the connective tissues, and poses are held for up to five minutes.

WHEN:

2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Restorative Yoga with Sound Healing

Experience ultimate relaxation!

Restorative Yoga allows the body to be fully supported by props like bolsters and blankets while getting a gentle stretch. Sound Healing soothes the nervous system and turns on the "rest and digest" functions of the body. Go from wired to well in just 90 minutes!

 

WHEN: 2nd Sundays, 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Chair Yoga

Need a stretch but don't want to sit on the floor? Chair Yoga is great for people recovering from injuries and those who are not able to or would rather not get down on the floor.

Yoga Basics

This class includes a physically accessible movement practice along with yoga philosophy from ancient texts like the Yoga Sutras and more modern writings like TKV Desikachar’s The Heart of Yoga. Each class will have a theme that will guide the physical practice and make our time on the mat relevant to our everyday experiences.

 

This class is appropriate for bodies of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. The physical practice consists of a gentle warm up, movement through basic yoga poses with an emphasis on using the breath to enter and exit each pose, and restorative postures that allow the body and mind to be still. Beginners and experienced practitioners seeking to get back to basics are all welcome!

Tuesdays, Thursdays, 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.

COST: 3 credits per class

Power Sculpt Yoga

Power yoga meets strength training in this class which combines faster-paced Vinyasa Yoga with power poses and additional non-yoga cardio.

Some knowledge of yoga is helpful, and participants should be able to move quickly from floor to standing and back. Light 1-3 pound weights are available for extra strength-building.

Wednesdays, 6:15-7:15 p.m.
