All yoga classes are currently meeting ONLINE or OUTDOORS. No in-studio yoga classes are happening at this time. Pre-registration and pre-payment are REQUIRED for in-person classes to reduce contact. **By registering for an in-person class, you agree to abide by our COVID-19 Class Policies.**

 

Please note: If classes or workshops are cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, the update will be noted on the main Calendar. Please check the Calendar before planning to attend any class!

Online Restorative Yoga with Vanessa

Join Vanessa Bonet, RYT-200 Yoga Instructor and Advanced Reiki practitioner for some LIVE restorative yoga on Mondays' afternoon via Zoom!

Join anytime! Attend to 1 session or all 5.

This class will incorporate restorative poses that allow your body to rest easy. We will utilize as props readily accessible items at home to support the postures, creating the space and intention to let the energy flow. The sequence will also incorporate stretches that will help release stress and tension from joints and muscles.

***Participants should be able to get down to the floor and up unassisted. Registration is required for this class, cut off time is 4:00 p.m. on Mondays***

Online Gentle Yoga with Ashley Lester

Stretching the mind and stretching the body, Ashley’s gentle classes are guided from the heart, which is the basis of Kripalu Yoga. Using resiliency as a foundation, breathing practices, postures and guided meditation are explored at the level that you feel comfortable in your body.

The Friday class is geared toward helping professionals and includes an optional 15 minute check in at the end. Ashley is an experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (eRYT200) and a Licensed Social Worker (LISW-CP).

These classes are ONLINE and LIVE via Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link once you have registered.

Outdoor Yoga 4 U with Melissa Powell

I love, love to practice yoga outside. This outdoor class highlights intuition, connection with nature, and movements that feel GOOD!

On the grounds of Woodburn Historic House, we have access to a beautiful natural setting and a covered pavilion with fans and nearby restrooms. A large towel with or without a yoga mat and at least 1 additional towel or blanket are recommended props.

Participants should be able to get down to and up from the ground unassisted.

Online Chair Yoga with Melissa Powell

Join Melissa Powell, RYT 200, for an hour of Chair Yoga! We'll explore movement and breathwork that can be done while seated in a chair. Standing poses will be optional.

This class is appropriate for people who'd like a gentler class, one that is easier on knees and shoulders, and for people who'd like some ideas for movement and breathwork that they can do at their desk at work, while riding in a car, or anytime they are seated.

Online Mindful Flow with Malena Agyemang

Using the breath as a guide, flow through poses that stretch and strengthen the whole body. Mindful flow is not about getting your body into poses but using poses and conscious breathing to get into your body, mind, and spirit.

Online Yoga 4 U with Melissa Powell

Yoga 4 U is a beginner-friendly class that celebrates the body that meets you on the mat. We will explore how yoga can benefit the body by improving strength, flexibility, and balance and the mind by improving nervous system resilience.

Online Yoga Nidra with Vanessa Bonet

Join Vanessa Bonet, RYT-200 Yoga Instructor and Yoga Nidra Certified for a LIVE journey via ZOOM in which you can deeply connect and release unwanted energies.

We will enter into a Yoga Nidra experience that will range between 35 to 45 minutes. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that involves breath awareness and body sensing along with intention setting. The goal of Yoga Nidra is to unearth the blockages (Samskaras) that exist as matter, energy, and thought that may prevent the flow of prana (life force) throughout the body. Although Yoga Nidra is not confined to one specific position, it is generally practiced in a supine pose such as Savasana (lying on your back).

Outdoor Yoga & Tea with Polly Keller

Taught by Polly Keller from Ayurveda Health for Life, these yoga classes are suitable for all levels and are followed by an optional social tea time. Come move, breathe, and enjoy the beauty of the Woodburn Historic House's grounds!
